Vivaldi The Four Seasons |
|
May 1 at 7:30pm and May 3 at 3:00pm
Let’s all agree: Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons is one of classical music’s most spectacular hits. And yet, when you hear it played “the H+H way”—in a historically informed performance on period instruments—you’ll feel like you’re hearing it for the first time…utterly fresh, sparkling, and exuberant. As soloist, Aisslinn Nosky’s virtuosity is guaranteed to dazzle. Part of the fun for you, our audience, is listening for Vivaldi’s spot-on sound effects—birds, a brook, a barking dog, gnats and flies, thunder and lightning, the chattering of teeth, and slipping on ice. This is a piece for all seasons. |
