Enrique Graf Premieres Leonardo Balada's Concerto in Latin America

On Tuesday August 1 at Teatro Solis in Montevideo, Uruguay, Enrique Graf (www.enriquegraf.com) will be soloist in Leonardo Balada's Concerto for Piano, Winds and Percussion. The 110 year old Symphonic Band of Montevideo will be conducted by Gustavo Fontana, Music Director of the Mendoza Symphony Orchestra in Argentina. Enrique Graf, one of the best known South American pianists, has performed and recorded this concerto for the Naxos label. Spanish composer Leonardo Balada is a prolific composer who has had his works performed and recorded by such luminaries as Alicia de Larrocha, Andres Segovia, Narciso Yepes, Victoria de los Angeles, Montserrat Caballe and many others.
