‘Directing a music competition can be a solitary experience, but thanks to the WFIMC you no longer need to feel isolated. WFIMC is a collective of peers. Collectively, the organization sets precedents of excellence: advancing competition regulations, setting professional codes of conduct, building new audiences and proliferating the achievements of competitions and their laureates.’

Didier Schnorhk, President, WFIMC & Secretary General, Geneva International Music Competition

‘Perhaps the most invaluable benefit of WFIMC membership is the sharing of expertise among the most experienced competition administrators and artistic directors from around the world in every discipline.’

Glen Kwok, Executive Director, International Violin Competition of Indianapolis

‘The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition is devoted to the World Federation of International Music Competition ever since its foundation 65 years ago. Our Society respects the opportunity given to representatives of Federation members to meet annually, enjoy an active brainstorming that explores mutual issues taking place in different venues all over the world, learn from the experience of other competitions, exchange ideas and spread the name of our competition worldwide.’
