The Unbreakable Juilliard Connection

May 5, 2015 | By Helene Kamioner
Creative Consultants for the Arts
Rhona Klinghofer (B.M., M.M. Voice) and Ted Ganger (B.M. M.M., Piano) were friends at Juilliard, working and performing recitals together. They lost contact when Ted went to Germany to conduct and Rhona began her professional singing career. Now, almost 40 years later, she's a respected singer and voice teacher in California, and he's on the faculty of the Musikhochschule in Munich. And, back in touch at last, in a collaboration initiated by former Juilliard student, Helene Kamioner, Director of Creative Consultants for the Arts, they will be performing together again - in a series of recordings and recitals of Ted's songs, all written in the past few years.
