Yoshiki, one of Asia's most influential musical artists, will be in concert on Friday, April 25 – 8:00 PM at Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall of Segerstrom Center for the Arts, 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa, CA.

He will perform selections from Yoshiki Classical, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Classical Music chart in 10 countries around the world (along with 4 Top 10 debuts), and has been spotlighted by Billboard Magazine, MTV, Reuters, and AOL, to name a few. Pianist Magazine called Yoshiki Classical a “true labor of love from a talented artist who’s made an impressive mark within the classical and rock genres.”

For ticket information, call the Segerstrom Center at 714-556-2787 or visit http://www.scfta.org/home/Events/EventDetail.aspx?EventID=1566.

Although known as the founder of Japan’s biggest rock band X Japan and credited as the catalyst for the flamboyant visual kei rock sub-genre, Yoshiki is also a world-renowned classically trained musician and composer and has made a major mark within the classical genre. For Yoshiki Classical, the multi-talented artist worked with legendary Beatles producer Sir George Martin, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and the Quartet San Francisco.

Yoshiki will embark on the Yoshiki Classical Tour beginning April 25th at Costa Mesa’s Segerstrom Center for the Arts before setting off across North America, Europe and Asia, culminating in his native Japan. Tickets for the Yoshiki Classical Tour are also on sale now at http://www.yoshiki.net/tour.php.
