Mozart Masterpieces Online Stream
Out of Chicago Press Release
WFMT Radio in Chicago will sponsor a special all day seminar with Lawrence Rapchak, music director of the Northbrook Symphony and popular pre-concert lecturer for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra called “Mozart Masterpieces.” He will guide the participant on an exciting multi-media journey focusing Mozart: the dramatist and how he brought his music to life using interplay between characters-no matter what musical genre he employed, be it operas, symphonies or piano concertos. This complete immersion into Mozart’s genius includes lecture, discussion, live performances and visual illustrations.
“Mozart Masterpieces” will be streamed live (audio and video) by WFMT. The cost for the stream is $20 for the general public and $15 for WFMT’s Fine Arts Circle members. Everyone who subscribes will have on-demand access for one year. Details can be found at www.wfmt.com/mozart.
