Fourth Tureck International Bach Competition, October 15-18, 2015. New York City

The Fourth Rosalyn Tureck International Bach competition will be held October 15-18 in New York. Semifinals and Finals at Dimenna Center for Classical Music. Gala concert - Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center for Performing Arts Public Library.

This competitive Bach festival provides an opportunity for promising young pianists to perform as well contemporary works, and being judged by prominent pedagogues and performers around the world. The competition is supported by Evgeny Kissin, and its Advisory Board includes prominent musicians as Bella Davidovich, Horacio Gutierrez, Janina Fialkowska, Andre Michel Schub, Jeffrey Swann, and Wu Han. The competition attracts pianists from all over USA, Canada, and as far away as China, Russia, Ukraine, England, Italy.
