The Canticum Novum Singers Presents The Unknown Region Concert on April 26 at South Salem Presbyterian Church in South Salem, New York

The Canticum Novum Singers, Harold Rosenbaum, Conductor and Artistic Director will present The Unknown Region concert on Sunday, April 26 - 3:00 PM at South Salem Presbyterian Church, 111 Spring Street, South Salem, New York.

This second concert of The Canticum Novum Singers’ 42nd Anniversary season will include Johannes Brahms’ Schicksalslied, Randall Thompson’s The Road Not Taken (from Frostiana), David Lang’s It’s the Same Train, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Toward the Unknown Region, William Schuman’s Carols of Death and Jonathan Harvey’s Angels. The music explores unknown regions, whether they be places, situations, states of mind, or the uncertainties of the spirit world.

The Canticum Novum Singers, hailed by critics and audiences alike, is now in its 41st season under the direction of its founder, Harold Rosenbaum. During the past 41 years, this chamber choir has achieved both national and international recognition for its stylistic versatility, vocal blend, and expressive range. The ensemble has presented dozens of world, American, and New York premieres by composers ranging from Handel, J.C.
