Chamber Players International March 29 Landmark/Musical Cuisine Concert in Old Westbury, NY Celebrates Violin Masterworks of J.S. Bach

Chamber Players International will present the third concert of its 2014/15 Landmark/Musical Cuisine series, on Sunday, March 29, with the concert at 2:00 PM and a wine/buffet reception at 3:30 PM at The Red Ballroom at Old Westbury Gardens, 71 Old Westbury Road in Old Westbury, NY. Wines are provided courtesy of Banfi Vintners.
This program features masterworks of J.S. Bach, including his Violin Concertos in E and A, and d minor, with string ensemble. Soloist will be Emil Chudnovsky.

Winner of top prizes from nine international competitions, Emil Israel Chudnovsky is the recipient of 1st Prize from the XI International Curci Violin Competition (Naples), 1st Prize from the Young Artists Competition of the National Federation of Music Clubs and, most recently, 1st prize from the Valsesia-Musica International Violin Competition (Milan). Twice a laureate of the “Premio Paganini” International Competition, he also holds 2nd Prize from the D’Angelo International Competition, as well as awards from the Rodolfo Lipizer, Szeryng and Enescu international competitions.
Chudnovsky has performed in Great Britain, Italy, Israel, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela in recent years. He performs on a copy of the ex-Joachim del Gesu made for him in July 2010 by Howard Needham.
Chamber Players International is a major regional presenting and performing arts organization, presenting between 25 and 30 concert events serving the entire New York metropolitan area.
