Palisades Virtuosi Part in Concert on September 21 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Allendale, New Jersey

Bogota, NJ - The Palisades Virtuosi flute, clarinet and piano trio will present the season opening concert of Trinity Arts on Sunday, September 21  2:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 55 George Street in Allendale, New Jersey.

The Virtuosi will perform Casper Kummers Concertino in C Major, Opus 101, David Messers Rons Waltz (originally for solo piano, transcribed by the composer for flute, clarinet and amplified piano), Gwyneth Walkers Full Circle for flute, clarinet and amplified piano (based on readings from the Unitarian Universalist Hymnal  commissioned by Palisades Virtuosi), Gershwins Three Preludes (for flute, clarinet and piano) and John Lampkins George Washington Slept Here (Variations on Soldiers Joy - commissioned by Palisades Virtuosi).

The afternoon program will also include the official opening of an exhibition of abstractly conceived nature photographs by Allendale's Michael Tat as well as after-concert dessert.

The Palisades Virtuosi, consisting of flutist Margaret Swinchoski, clarinetist Donald Mokrynski and pianist Ron Levy, is a 501 (c)(3) organization established to promote and enrich the repertoire for flute, clarinet and piano and present concerts that include existing and newly-commissioned repertoire for this configuration (each of their concerts includes a work commissioned by the ensemble), supplemented by solos, duos and larger works featuring guest artists.
