House of Time specializes in music of the Baroque era played on period instruments. Its members include faculty and graduates of the Juilliard School as well as prize winners of major international competitions. House of Time began as a group of close friends that wanted the opportunity to perform music that they love for themselves and for a range of listeners. Their programming combines masterpieces of the Baroque with works by lesser known masters and recent discoveries. Using the instruments and techniques of the past to express the vivid passions in the music, House of Time seeks to make the past speak directly to our culture and provide relief from the fast pace of modern day life.
