Zuill Bailey to Record with Child Jazz Composer Emily Bear

Cellist Zuill Bailey is recording music composed by 11 year old Jazz pianist and composer Emily Bear, for her upcoming CD of original music, "Diversity." The session is being held at El Adobe Recording Studios in El Paso,Texas, where both artists will work together. The CD will be released on the Concord Music Group label.Zuill Bailey has just recorded his third Live CD with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra which also includes new music by composer Nico Muhly. He heads to work with the North Carolina Symphony to record the Britten Symphony for Cello and Orchestra, to mark the composer's 100th birthday. Emily Bear, who has appeared at the White House will be featured at the "We Cares" special event honoring Quincy Jones on the eve of the Grammy's on February 6.
