Scheduled for 7 p.m. <em>al fresco<\/em> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ancient_theatre_of_Taormina\">Teatro Antico<\/a> in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.taormina.it\/\">Taormina<\/a>, Sicily, the program consists of Italian opera overtures and intermezzos:<\/p>\n<p>Puccini &#8211; <em>Madama Butterfly<\/em>: Act III Sunrise<br \/>\nRossini &#8211; Overture to <em>L\u2019italiana in Algeri<\/em><br \/>\nRossini &#8211; Overture to <em>Guillaume Tell<\/em><br \/>\nVerdi &#8211; <em>La traviata<\/em>: Act I Prelude<br \/>\nVerdi &#8211; Overture to <em>La forza del destino<\/em><br \/>\nMascagni &#8211; <em>Cavalleria rusticana<\/em>: Intermezzo<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.askonasholt.co.uk\/artists\/myung-whun-chung\/\">Myung-Whun Chung<\/a> conducts the <a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Filarmonica_della_Scala\">Filarmonica della Scala<\/a> in what is an opening event of the 43rd <a href=\"http:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/meetings\/international-summit\/2017\/05\/26-27\/\">G7 Summit<\/a>, themed <em>Building the Foundations of Renewed Trust<\/em>.
