In a remarkable set of coincident artistic priorities for company boss <a href=\"https:\/\/www.staatsoper.de\/en\/biographies\/detail-page\/bachler-nikolaus.html\">Nikolaus Bachler<\/a> \u2014 or a broad capitulation \u2014 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.staatsoper.de\">Bavarian State Opera<\/a>\u2019s 2016\u201317 season, announced today, features no fewer than six divas in performance with their husbands. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Edita_Gruberov%C3%A1\">Edita Gruberov\u00e1<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/elinagaranca.com\/\">El\u012bna Garan\u010da<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/kristineopolais.com\/\">Kristine Opolais<\/a> will star in <em>Roberto Devereux<\/em>, <em>La Favorite<\/em> and <em>Rusalka<\/em> while their other halves conduct. <a href=\"http:\/\/diana-damrau.com\/\">Diana Damrau<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.annanetrebko.com\/\">Anna Netrebko<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/aleksandrakurzak.com\/\">Aleksandra Kurzak<\/a> will headline <em>Lucia di Lammermoor<\/em>, <em>Macbeth<\/em> and <em>La Juive<\/em> while alongside them their spouses sing. In another family tie, <a href=\"http:\/\/imgartists.com\/artist\/vladimir_jurowski\">Vladimir Jurowski<\/a> has apparently been allowed to abandon the new <em>Ognenny angel<\/em> he led (electrically) this season in favor of \u2026 his dad.
