		<description>Dear Edna,

I remember as a young orchestra intern wanting to shield a very high-profile artist from spending so much time after a tiring concert with autograph seekers. I was gently and wisely guided by my good friend Miryam Yardumian (former music administrator of the Baltimore Symphony) to remember that the artist didn&#039;t mind; it was just such enthusiastic fans who would support and help the artist in the course of his career, and he enjoyed it!
