| Ad Materials |
- Advertisers are required to submit materials in electronic format.
- No JPGs or PDFs accepted.
- Please include contact information and advertiser name.

- Ads must be submitted on 100 megabyte Zip disks or CDs.
- E-mailed files of 5 megabytes or less are accepted at advertising@musicalamerica.com.
- E-mailed files should include cover letter with contact information.
- Please name file with advertiser name.
- Please include advertiser name in subject box.

| File Types |
Native application files for Quark 6.5 or lower, Illustrator 12(CS2) or lower, Photoshop 9.0(CS2) or lower, FreeHand 10 or lower, and Indesign 4.0(CS2) or lower.

All other materials, as well as improperly sized materials, will incur production charges.

- All ads must be accompanied by a composite proof.

- Resolution 300 dpi.
- Save all photos in EPS or TIFF format.
- If the file contains photos and text, please provide a 600 dpi original file.
- Do not enlarge images over 110%.

Must be in Grayscale mode. Highlight dot 5%, shadow dot 90%, mid-tones 40-50%.

PMS (monotone, duotone, or DCS) or CMYK mode, NOT RGB. No ICC color profiles permitted in file. No 4-color elements permitted in 2- and 3-color ads. |

| Ad Creation Guidelines |
| General |
- All screen and printer fonts must be supplied.
- True Type fonts cannot be used under any circumstances.
- Supply all of the imported images used.
- All imported images must be in EPS or TIFF format only.
- No JPGs or PDFs accepted.

Quark/ InDesign/ Pagemaker |
- Do not use menu style attributes from the Style menu (such as bold, italic, outline, and shadow).
- Images must comply with above Photo Specs standards.
- If ad is 4/C process, PMS colors must be separated.
- Illustrator/Freehand files must have outlined fonts, and all colors must have the same name as in Quark.

- Convert all type to outlines.

- All placed images must be embedded and provided with the Illustrator file.
- Images must comply with above Photo Specs standards.
- Save as EPS with preview.

- In version 6 or higher: If ad contains type, select the Include Vector Data selection box in the SAVE AS / EPS OPTIONS dialog box.

All ad groups will rotate a maximum of two ads in any position.
We accept .gif, .jpg or .swf files.

Animation limit maximum of 3 loops
Please embed your hyperlink in your flash file.
All ads must be according to specification on arrival or they will be returned to the client. We cannot change or correct submitted banner ads. Files should be e-mailed to info@musicalamerica.com at least 1 day before the start date.

Banner and postage ad positions are placed throughout the site. These include the home, industry news, artist search, artist managers' search, listings, and listings search main pages, as well as placement on all search results pages.
